“Whoa, where did the books go?”

It’s a fair question, because if you got here then you clicked on a link at some point where I said that I happen to write novels. But after some soul searching and talking to a few friends I’ve decided that this page needs some updating and that I need to do what I can to make sure that my third novel will benefit from a more organized release. If you’re interested in seeing what I have to offer, I recommend following my twitter account now. I do a lot of world building there, frequently update my blog, and when it comes time for me to put this page and its contents back up I’m going to be updating everyone there like crazy. Given the work ahead of me, you can expect an update in the winter as I prep everything for the release of my third novel in 2018.

I’m going to continue to update the blog as frequently as humanly possible. If you give me a few months I assure you that you’ll know exactly what I’m about and whether or not I deserve your money. I’m certain that by the time I relaunch this page and my books you’ll have decided that this particular dancing bear has earned your patronage.

As for what you can expect here: I’m not entirely sure how much I’m going to change the layout of this particular page. But there are a few minor updates I’ve wanted to make since I first put it up and never had the opportunity. The page wasn’t terrible, but it needed some tweaks, so I think I’m going to take another swing at it. And as for the books themselves? When I put this page back to the way it was you can expect them to have new editions with updated covers and a couple new formats to pick up (as there are marketplaces I wasn’t available on before and I’ve decided to bite the bullet and go for a print edition).

This isn’t something I do lightly, but I feel that by stepping this page back I can make sure that the first impressions you get of my work can be the best impressions. If I were an established author this would have happened in the background as my minions toiled the mines. But me? I’m generally doing what I can with the one minion I happen to have. His name is Jeremy, and he works for peanuts.

In the meantime, seriously, follow my twitter and take in the Alterpedia tweets while I do everything I can to make sure the wait is worthwhile. And, if I fail, at least you can say you had a front row seat to me face-planting on the internet.
